Terrorism Hits Amman!

3 horrible explosions took place about an hour ago in Amman, in 3 hotels: Radisson Sas, Grand Hyatt Amman, and Days Inn… one of them targeted a wedding!
The explosions were caused by suicide bombers!
What the hell is wrong with those stupid people! First Aqaba and now Amman, plot after plot, terrorist act after terrorist act, WHY? WHO IS PAYING THE PRICE?
I really don’t understand, such sick minds waste their time planning such a destructive act, waste so much money just to destroy, and waste their powers in knocking down communities they live within! They waste their lives brainwashing generations, and the brainwashed explode themselves with pride and satisfaction! Not for a second does it even cross their minds that they’re doing nothing but spread fear, destroy tranquility, and cross out stability and peace from countries they belong to, countries that give them shelter!

The victims are innocent civilians who did nothing wrong in their life to deserve to die this awful way! People whose fault is to get a job and work for a living rather than kill and destroy!

You terrorist shit heads, you bastards, if you’re not happy with your lives and not mature and good enough to convey your messages peacefully to make a positive change, if you can’t live in peace, go ahead and kill yourselves without harming others you cowards, why take the lives of others? BURN IN HELL YOU MORONS!

Till now, results show 32 have been killed, more than 200 are badly injured! All Amman’s exists and entrances are now closed, and the international line to Jordan is not reachable 🙁

Tomorrow and on Friday, Jodanians are going out in marches against terrorism…

May God burn each and everyone who kills innocent people, and may God be by the side of the families of the ones who were killed…

Jordan’s National Relief Campaign

Now and as I write, Jordan TV is paying all possible efforts in its national campaign to relief victims of the Pakistan Earthquake.
Great news is, individuals, companies and organizations from all around the Arab world are donating.

For a -relatively-” small community like Jordan, I believe the results of this campaign are a big success! Till this moment JTV studios collected JD 1,492,000.000.

This campaign follows the call of HM King Abdullah II, urging citizens of Jordan to donate and help rescue Pakistani people who are suffering terrible health conditions as well as devastating psychological side effects after the earthquake.

I believe this is a great chance for all who wish to help. The campaign will stay open for donations all day long, so please do help with any amount, no matter how little you think it is, this amount will be of great assistance to others.

Ramadan is the month of giving and sharing, all Muslims should double their giving and help those who need help.

And it is to be pointed out that Jordan will have an open day for Churches to gather donations for our Pakistani brothers. So to all our Christian sisters and brothers, don’Â’t miss this chance.
Together we can make a difference.

May God be by the side of all those who are suffering…

Some News From Jordan

Bike Paths
Horraaaaaay! Finally, Jordan will be constructing a path for bikes in King Abullah 2nd Street. The path will be around 6 km long and will be surrounded with a safety fence. If proven to be practical and successful, more paths around the Kingdom will be constructed!
Isn’t this just perfect? I’ve always wished for something like that to happen. I know I don’t live there any longer, but still, having such paths will help people cut expenses used in local/ private transportation. they will also encourage people to move instead of relying on cars/ busses, which is very healthy; and last but not least, this will mean less toxics and a healthier environment 🙂

Madaba Inn
“A three-star hotel located in the heart of Madaba was inaugurated on Tuesday. The 33-room hotel, situated opposite the St. George Church famous for its mosaics, features a restaurant, café, multi-purpose hall, business centre and access to high-speed wireless Internet”. Source:Jordan Times
I believe this is a very smart and impressive step. This way tourists and students from all around the world would have the chance to stay as long as they want in Madaba instead of spending few hours during a day trip.
It doesn’t have to be a fancy 5 starts hotel, the option of an inn will just do, and will be also affordable. I think it’s really great!
Here are some pictures of the famous Madaba mosaics for you to enjoy.

Terrorist Acts… Sick Minds

What a week! Last week was a disaster, I had loads of work to do at the office many tight deadlines, felt a bit sick, and heard my share of bad news.
Most disturbing news was that of the bombings in Aqaba.
In this crazy time we’re living, I’m not shocked to hear of disgusting terrorist acts anywhere in the world, but what shocks me every time I hear of one is: WHEN ARE THOSE AIRHEADS GOING TO FINALLY GET IT!!!
Terrorism never solves a problem! Killing innocent people, destroying the planet, and planting fear in all generations is NOT THE DAMN SOLUTION!!!

And what makes me really sick, is when they show their “pretty faces” and say: in the name of Islam…etc.
Yeah right! Well I’m Muslim, and I’m saying it out loud: MAY YOU BURN IN HELL YOU MORONS!

Jordan, Britain Deportation Accord

After the terrible London bombings, more security procedures have taken place, and many critical decisions were taken as well. One of these decisions was deporting Muslims who are in suspicion. The reaction of the world was mostly supportive to this decision, among the supporters were many Arab Muslim Bloggers who are pro deportation of suspects. I for one believe that Britain has the right to do that of course, but my fear is the grounds on which Muslim British Citizens would be selected for deportation. Who is exactly a suspect? And so my personal opinion was: identify suspects, investigate, if proven guilty then they should be punished, if not guilty then they have the right to stay where they are. Anyway, and regardless of what I think, the decision to deport “suspects” is now on its way to action. One of the first steps was: signing a deportation accord with Jordan that allows for undesirables to be deported from one country to the other, and under which both countries guarantee the civil rights of Jordanian and British deportees without the fear of torture or mistreatment. Britain pointed out that agreement has been formulated for one-and-a-half years and had no links with the terrorist attacks that hit London recently.
This accord faced a lot of opposition from some politicians and activists in Jordan. Also rights group Amnesty International slammed the agreement as “not worth the paper it’s written on”.
Sources: Middle East Online, and Jordan Times.

What hurts me the most is the fact that torture and mistreatment of prisoners has become a common practice in most of the world.
I’Â’m sure that if torture is crossed out of our dictionaries the world will be taking a big step towards civilization, development and reform, and it will become a better place to live.

Caravan Update

This is a quick update concerning Caravan for Palestine.

Israeli soldiers forcefully deported 120 supporters of the Caravan from the Allenby Bridge and forced them to return back to Jordan. Soldiers beat, dragged, and pushed many of the Caravaners and confiscated one of their cameras as they were forcing them onto the busses. Israel brought extra security forces onto the scene to carry out the forced evacuation.

Israeli soldiers have also stamped their passports with a mark that will prohibit them from entering Israel or the Palestinian Territories for the rest of their lives.

Here are all news updates concerning the Caravan and the Caravaners.

The caravan is a peaceful movement that aims at upholding human rights of Palestinians and supporting their struggle for freedom, as well as drawing international attention to the human rights violations and atrocities being perpetrated by the Israeli forces in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.

What’s the point in treating the caravaners this awful way? Why prohibit them from enetring neither Israel nor Occupies Palestinian Territories?

The seek no harm, they want no violence, they just want to make a difference in the most peaceful and cooperative way, WHY DO THIS TO THEM?!
