A Quote…
“On July 28, 1989, we kidnapped Sheikh Obeid, and on May 12, 1994, we
kidnapped Mustafa Dirani, who had captured Ron Arad. Israel held these
two people and another 20-odd Lebanese detainees without trial, as
“negotiating chips.” That which is permissible to us is, of course,
forbidden to Hezbollah”.

Eman I so wholeheartedly agree with all you’ve written on this horrible crisis of murder being perpetrated by Israel.
The western public has been so well programmed by the culture here (or lack of it) that any statement repeated often enough eventually becomes accepted as truth. The state of Israel depends upon this aspect of western culture for their continued expansion, and indeed its very existance.
The situation now is so absolutely devastating in every respect that I fear things will never improve.
I certainly hope that I’m wrong.
I also hope that all your friends / relatives in Palestine and Lebanon are able to keep safe and sane in such a situation of danger and mental anguish.
Thanks Eman,YES… this is the true double face of the so called “civilized western world” it’s sick, ugly and totally biased.
Yet they are still being looked at as “Terrorists”
are you married Eman? you are attractively smar
why are you under subzeroblue.com? he is a blogger from tunisia? your husband?
What?! Is someone trying to pick you up on-line? 🙂 Well, he(?) shows good taste.
Glad to see you’re up and about and hope you’re feeling much better. (Don’t overdo it. 🙁 )
Cheers.
Amelopsis, as usual, your comments are so welcome and I truly appreciate that you take the time to read what I write and share your opinion.
I couldn’t agree more with you, repeating a very well made lie makes it a fact eventually, and the situation is truly awful. I see no light in the end of the tunnel. Not now, not in 10 years and even more.
Like you I wish I’m wrong, but I doubt that in the presence of all this violent and hatred. Even a ceasefire wont end the war, the memories of these days (added to those of earlier wars and massacres) makes it hard for the people to forget, forgive, and trust Israel ever again.
Thanks for your sweet wishes for my relatives and friends.
Hope you and your loved ones are always great.
Qwaider, thanks for the comment. Yes, double standards just kill me!
Single, I’ll take your comment as a friendly compliment, thanks. Yes, I’m married and my husband is Subzero Blue.
Jimbo, I’m flattered really 😉 Thanks for all your comments. Just finished reading your last comment. You have a 16 year old daughter? WOW! that’s really impressive, it’s so rare to find parents with 16 year olds being such active readers! It’s a very critical age to deal with, and it needs an extremely loving, caring and smart father to overcome this phase safely. She’s so lucky to have such a wonderful openminded father and I hope all will be ok with you and your family.
I also wish you’ll all be safe during the hurricanes!
I’m a bit better, and the reason I started writing more is because I found a new position to place the laptop, which helped me feel more relaxed while writing. I thank God for that, because you know reading alone makes me feel left out from this crazy world we’re living.
Take care my friend.
